We have reached the finals – Pizza Chef of the Year Awards 2022.
Chantal’s pizza journey started in 1995 when she landed a job at St Elmo’s pizza in South Africa! Not only did she quickly move up to General Manager but she also helped develop the dough and pizza recipes. From there, her love and passion for pizza only grew.
Chantal travelled the world and eventually ended up in the UK in 2004. She’s worked for various brands including Zizzi’s and ASK Italian.
Chantal is Gallio’s Operations Director where she’s revolutionised pizza as we know it, drawing inspiration from the Mediterranean!
Gallio’s signature pizza dough is made using three ancient grains: Emmer, Einkorn and Spelt. It’s crisp, delicate and deeply satisfying but also high in protein and antioxidants.
