Fried Calamari

  • 450g Fresh Squid
  • 85g Plain Flour
  • 85g Cornflour
  • 2x Eggs
  1. Begin by cleaning the squid and slicing them into rings.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal or bread crumbs, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat two eggs.
  4. Dip each ring of squid into the egg mixture and then into the flour mixture.
  5. Fry the squid in hot oil until golden brown, and serve hot with a spritz of lemon juice and a glass of wine.
